Who Am I?

My personal way of thinking – The way you rationalize the world matters. Make sure you’re settling yourself up for success. Everyone is a product of their environment up until today. We are in our own “bubble” and it’s important we all understand this insulates us from seeing the world outside our “standard” view unless we put effort into it. Remember you don’t know, what you don’t know. Not one person knows all.

  • Give everyone the benefit of the doubt – My belief is 99% of the population is not malicious. Most that act against the best of society/humanity are misunderstood/uneducated. If we put any group of random people together we could come to a majority vote on what’s best for all. The majority wants to live a peaceful & fulfilling life, and doesn’t mind other unless it directly impacts them negatively. However it’s important to remember the environment of the person will also dictate their actions. Some can be placed into a situation where they feel forced to comply due to outside obligations. Examples: Family – Being disowned for wrong beliefs / Someone with a family cannot just quit their job in most cases due to money/health insurance/etc. Someone who needs money for rent isn’t going to go against their boss’s wishes. The point being people can feel forced to need to make the wrong decision for their current best interest. This doesn’t make them malicious because if they had the option they would do best, but more so stuck in survival mode trying to get through the day. Everyone goes through hard times and can’t always present their best selves to you today. Remember all the life crap you’ve been through in these cases.
  • Due Process – This is absolutely a requirement for fair treatment of all – Assuming others are guilty before fair trial is a complete failure of our judicial system. Crazy important to understand this. Every single situation is different and you cannot group them. It really takes a dive down the rabbit hole to ensure you’re viewing all the variables objectively.
  • Family Bubbles – Through my “unique” family upbringing I was able to see how “family bubbles” are formed. Parents divorced since 6 months I saw how different families act growing up. I realized if you don’t question your way of living, you’re most likely living like those you grew up around. Believing the same stuff and never explaining your view of the world. This could be good or bad, but from historical experience it’s typically bad. Always better if you take control of your way of thinking and move towards what you believe in. Ask yourself why!!! Why do I do this? Do I enjoy this or is it habit?

5 Levels of Knowledge – My attempt to “group” how I look at others going into any situation. You need to first check to make sure everyone is in it for the right reasons. Understanding everyone is at different levels helps you to prioritize the information put in front of you for any topic simple or difficult. Be careful of 1’s & 3’s!! Anyone can be anyone of these based on the given topic.

1.) Malicious – These are the 1% of the population who truly want to ruin your life and take everything away. Anyone that purposely creates gains by taking advantage of others. These people will lie and alter the rules of the game for their continued benefit. Assume the worse always. Cheating/Scamming/Manipulation/Wrong Reason/Everything goes for them.

2.) Noob – Noobs I assume know nothing or close to nothing. Doesn’t mean you don’t take them serious if they earn the respect, but always remember there are variables they may not know. Important to stay on your game especially if training them. Help them learn the fundamentals throughly first!

3.) Know it Alls – K.I.A are the 2nd dangerous type of person. They believe they know all and don’t have the emotional awareness to step back and question their information, or even admit they could be incorrect. Their ego gets put in front of facts and a lot of the time it seems like they’re trying to prove themselves (Or are). The ones that will hear you, but never truly listen. Wrong reasons but not maliciously, more they’re stuck in their own head for other reasons. They do care and want the best for the majority.

4.) In Training – Aware they’re in training and have not mastered all techniques/information. Questions everything to ensure they’re staying on the correct path. Puts in time to understand the material with the goal to become a Subject Matter Expert

5.) S.M.E -Subject Matter Expert – These are the true experts that have dedicated their time to understanding the information at a level almost no one else will reach without passion. They’re objectively moving in a positive direction fort all. Can remove ego/emotions to make the right decision.
