Decision Making Process – To make decisions based on your opinion only, while being in a logical mindset, taking into the account of others, and understanding all potential consequences good and bad.
Process:
[New Decision Required] —> [Analyze & Form 1st Pass Response] —>
1.) Ask: Am I in a logical mindset w/ no emotional influence? Yes: More Forward / No: Get yourself to a better place before deciding (Sober/Relaxed/Calm)
2.) Ask: Does this decision make you happy. Is this what you would want if no others ever knew? (Remember it may not directly make you happy, but you know it’s the right choice. Example: You give your winnings to a friend in need. Make sure you think deeply to ensure the proposed decision is based off your current views and not others. A lot of times we subconsciously do things not understanding why @ that time, all because we hadn’t went through that specific thought process prior.) Happy: More Forward / Not Happy: Think harder & deeper to understand why.
3.) Ask: Does this decision impact others? Am I okay with this? Yes: More Forward / No: Rethink your solution to meet your requirements —>
[Move forward with your decision and deal with all consequences. Take all lessons learned and use them for any future decision making.]
